034. (Painting)

Dress Evans | Shoes Spring, gifted from bf. | Belt Thrifted | Watch Borrowed from mom.

My dress looks an awful like a splatter painting, doesn't it? That's why I fell in love with it. Jen from Bigsuit Blog was selling this on Livejournal sales posts and I knew I had to nab it not only for the great price but I just loved it! It looks way better in person, too! By the way... it's longer than it looks, I'm just holding it up. I wore a half-slip (kind of like a mini skirt?) to cover my bottom. It goes a bit above my knee... and yes, I'm that short.

Decided to go simple and not overdo it with accessories. I'm not a huge accessories fan anyway. The loud print already would go too much with accessories. I paired it with the usual woven belt and my gladiator sandals.

On another note, despite feeling not 100% my boyfriend's managed to take me to the movies for 3 days in a row now. On Monday we watched Robin Hood, which was... eh, I fell asleep. I watched Shrek yesterday which was better than what I thought and tonight I'm seeing the advance screening of Prince of Persia!

I've also decided to steal this little tag/meme thing from Buttons, Bows and Brogues.

033. (Red Lips)

Went out for a job interview despite not feeling very well. (Sinuses, ugh.. and fever?) But I managed to take meds and I'm good to go! I was at my dads the whole weekend and I didn't pack any clothes that was OOTD worthy there anyway.

Top ASOS Main Range | Skirt CarmaKoma | Shoes, Belt and Clutch Thrifted | Ring Costa Blanca

I contest that the best outfits for my eyes are the ones done in panic and a rush. I grabbed the nearest top and skirt and worked from there.

My hair is actually naturally wavy, as seen here and I just tied it up in a messy bun. While I was in my mothers accessory room I tried on some of her red lipstick and I felt really... pretty in it, haha!

I accessorized with simple accessories, red shoes and such and so forth! The red shoes, btw, are the most comfortable wedges I have ever OWNED. It was really hard to capture a picture because of the wind and the shadows. Oh, what will I do once the winter months roll in? Hm.

Shortly after though when lunch rolled in I rubbed off the lipstick as it was staining my food. Haha! I'm actually going to make an entry about it on my food blog but here's some teaser pictures.

028. (Peplum)

The weather's just been absolutely gorgeous. I wanted to wear a dress I haven't worn in a while. So I dug in my closet and found this beauty. I bought this off Dorothy Perkins last year when the peplum dress trend was still in full force. I love anything floral so I got it. It's a comfy dress with a bodycon fit--what more can I ask for?!

Dress Dorothy Perkins | Cardigan Thrifted | Knee-high Socks H&M | Boots Thrifted | Necklace Aldo

By the way, I notice those darn loops on the dress (to hang them) are sticking out. Urgh. That bothers me lots. Oh well.

I was feeling particularly daring and put on some knee-highs I bought from H&M last summer. I decided to take risks. I took the boots I bought last week from the charity shop and decided to wear them. I think this outfit is a bit out of my zone, but it's still me. I like it, despite the fact I look kind of  "shortened" due to the socks.

I went thrifting today, too! I found a pair of brown loafers for $5 (score!) and a top for $1. It was Value Village's 50% off day and I took full advantage of it.

Oh, by the way. I'm having a giveaway for a purse and custom made bracelet. Check it out!

020. (Let's have a Garden Party)

Finally, the sun is out! It's still cold (at a whopping 7 degrees Celsius, woo?)  but it's still a weather for me to wear dresses

Since I've purchased the floral dress from H&M Garden Collection I've been DYING to wear it. It's so pretty and colourful! I got compliments on it today at work/school. Even my picky boyfriend was like, "Wow, I really like that dress!" So I'm super happy about being able to wear it.

Dress H&M Garden Collection | Trench Coat Old Navy, thrifted. (Brand new too, $5 for this coat! Reminds me a lot of the ASOS Mac I saw on ASOS curve.) | Shoes Urban Outfitters | Headband H&M | Watch Yet again taken from my moms awesome accessory table | Bracelet From my aunt | Bag Some store from Orlando, Florida

What's one thing you've been dying to wear when the weather permits it?
