I know, I know, I've been a bad blogger.
Reasons for my lack of posting:
1. Camera isn't charged.
Okay, I know I shouldn't be making excuses but STILL. I have yet to announce my 2nd giveaway which I SHOULD be doing, but I don't have my camera to take pictures of the stuff (and I'm not home, I'm actually at my dads place.)
So the pictures here are all taken from my dads camera.
Dress and Jacket ASOS Curve | Shoes Doc Martens | Tights The Bay | Bag Memory Lane Shop
So cute, I got my bag (which is a blatant Alexa ripoff, I know. Can't afford the real thing.) from Memory Lane Shop. :D It's big and I can put my 13 inch Macbook inside of it. It's been good to me so far, that's for sure!
The weather is gloomy outside in Winnipeg. We had snow yesterday and it's cold. Bleh, such is life right?
Here's a picture of my boyfriend to end this entry.
I will be putting the giveaway soon, I promise my readers! xo

Another outfit post? You betcha. Actually, I wore this last weekend to my friend Tammy's house party. Tammy is like a wise plus size lady I know. She's fierce and beautiful, I would post a picture but I don't want to get in trouble! Let's just say she's a role model to me. She's intelligent and also dresses so beautifully for her figure! I envy her wardrobe.
Top and Cardigan Thrifted | Skirt ASOS | Belt Reitmans | Tights The Bay | Boots Thrifted
The outfit's nothing special, but hey, I documented it and I don't want to hide things from my blog. :p Also, sorry about the condition in the house. We're moving so we're packing a bunch of stuff.
I scored these awesome boots, it's a bit pricy at $15 but they're warm and comfy! I also was in a rush to tie my boots they look funny, but I tied them properly later in the night.

Don'tcha hate it when your pictures turn out DISASTROUS? I couldn't save it really. :/ Too much bad lighting and contrast in the picture. The thing that bothers me the most in these sets are the blasted black spots. It usually doesn't show in other pictures, I suppose it's time I go for my annual camera cleaning.
I bought this jacket for $96 at Ricki's. It's a definite keeper for the winter months. Really warm and it's pretty as well!
Dress Mango | Jacket Ricki's | Tights The Bay | Shoes Thrifted
I found this awesome dress from Mango. I mean from afar you can't see the details but let me show you how pretty the detailing is...
Then I paired it with these super comfy tights I bought from The Bay for $3! Then these comfy shoes from a local thrift store.
Well, I wore this outfit to go out to see Jackass 3D with my bf and friend, then go eat at an Italian place I've never been to. Needless to say... I won't be going back. :( I barely eat non-Asian food, and this restaurant, albeit bad, but it has traumatized me enough not to eat any pasta or Italian food for a while. Here's some pictures -- it looks good but it was horrible. On top of that, horrific service.
At least the company was good, as they say! :p

Hey all! I've just been up and down the last few days. The dreaded mid-term season is upon us and that's what I've been doing -- studying for it. Aside the obvious work and school work, haha. Also Thanksgiving was upon us as well. :p I hope all the Canadian readers had a good Thanksgiving. I am still in turkey coma, haha!
It's actually been up and down, the weather. One day it's hot to +26 C then it goes down to +14 C. So I was thrifting and found this black cardigan-like thing. It's so warm, cozy and comfortable! I only scored it for $3!
Cardigan, Pants and Shoes Thrifted | Belt Reitmans | Dress used as a Top Dorothy Perkins
Another thrifting luck... I thrifted some men's pants for $5. Fits great and has that structure and high waist feel I like. The only thing is I want to make the legs skinnier on the calves and get it hemmed.
These are by far one of the best thrifts I've gotten so far. These shoes were in brand new condition (with original stickers on it and everything) ... and I've been looking for cognac coloured oxfords FOREVER. Lo and behold, these babies were only $5! I love you Value Village.
I hope you guys are enjoying your week. Tomorrow is Friday, thank God!

I had such a good day today. Well this morning my boyfriend took us out to brunch to the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg. In Winnipeg it's really famous for it's delicious brunch spread. Seriously there's everything under the sun. There's a plethora of salads, cold cuts, cheeses... then there's hot foods like bacon, sausage... eggs benedict! There's roast beef, dim sum and a whole load of breads and pastries. Then there's an omelette station and a bunch of fancy food like salmon and such. I won't even get to the desserts, let's just say there's so many! This isn't cheap by the way ... haha, it's my first time going and I'm just so amazed. I wish I got pics of the hotel but it's got beautiful character and it's just wonderful.
Above is what we ate. I couldn't finish everything (ie: the desserts mostly and the omelette for example) because it was just too much of a portion but I freaking loved the eggs benedict! Delicious!
Cardigan Thrifted, Gap. | Dress used as a top Lane Bryant | Skirt Winners | Shoes Thrifted
So here's the outfit I wore to this occasion. I wasn't sure how to wear this skirt and this top and I thought of it. The skirt was an amazing find. It was $10 at Winners and it's a size Medium! It fits me like a dream with TONS of room to spare. The Lane Bryant top I bought from someone online, again I wasn't sure how to wear it (it's more like a clubbing top) but I think I worked it beautifully. Sorry for the shitty quality pictures by the way. I lost my SD card for my DSLR and I had to use my dads point and shooter. :P
I am actually REALLY happy being with such an amazing guy for so long. I mean we have our ups and downs but we're still together through it all. Started off with a long distance relationship and now here we are together. I love you Gab! :)

I've been on a roll with posting these days. Well today my dad took me out to a new Chinese restaurant place, it's more Northern Chinese infused with some Cantonese, but it's SO good. (If you like offal like tripe and stuff it's AWESOME). I am stuffed.
Cardigan Thrifted, GAP | Dress ASOS | Shoes Thrifted
So this is what I wore today. Different from what I wore to school and work... haha. It's simple, I think the colour scheme is nice... and I felt like having a different hair style these days.
Of course this wouldn't be a Bonjour Gazel entry without sharing what I ate!
Lotus leaf rice, Pork Hocks, Chili Pork tripe and Chinese fried chicken.
Dumplings, rice, bean curd noodles, tripe...
It was obviously a buffet, haha. I never see this type of food in Chinese buffets (it's all stuff you find in Hong Kong street stalls, etc.) so I was super excited!
