When I got my ASOS flute sleeve floral dress in the mail, I knew I had to wear it immediately. In fact when I bought it off the ASOS website it was the last one in my size. I knew I would regret it if I didn't buy it.

Guess what? I LOVE it. The sleeves - the dress, it's everything I imagined it to be and more. The only gripe I have is that if you're taller than me (I'm 5'5") this will definitely be tunic length on a person. It's quite short for me to be honest, it goes to mid-thigh, I sometimes get self-conscious if I moon someone by accident. In fact, my "modesty shorts" can be seen if I wore it underneath... but yeah. It's perfect otherwise, and I didn't wear anything else with it because it has a lot of details already like the sleeves and the flowers. So I wore makeup (which I normally don't do) in place of accessorizing.
Until next time!

Even though the sky was gloomy it did not stop me from wearing something obscenely colourful. I didn't feel like wearing shorts today, but I didn't want to wear pants either. Of course, a skirt or dress came to mind. I dug through my closet and found this HM garden collection dress I loved when I first got it, and I still do love it! I paired it with this as you can see. I'm still trying to get into the hang of the socks + sandals/peeptoe trend as you can see as well.
Forgive the state of my yard, we're working on cleaning it. Hahah. Time for spring cleaning...

Today my boyfriend and I went out to Vietnamese food for dinner, went thrifting and we watched Insidious... which I was so looking forward to, but I'm kind of disappointed. I guess that's why I shouldn't have high hopes for movies. The trailer was good, the movie in the beginning had a promising premise but down the middle it fell flat... I actually laughed, and so did a lot of people in the theatre. I would elaborate more but I don't want people killing me over spoilers. So I'll end my entry here today.
Until next time!

When someone asks me what my "style is", I can't really respond because I don't think I even have a style. At least, not one I could put into words. However, when I do think of a style for me, I think of stripes, red lips, kooky glasses and brogues. I think this outfit really displays what I am about. I am all about the stripes, I am a sailor (or Parisian? Haha, jokes!) at heart.

I'm SO happy to wear shorts without tights! Today was +16C (Oh, Winnipeg's stupid weather). I went out with my mom today for lunch and shopping. I also went thrifting with her and I found some cool stuff I can't wait to wear. Then I went with my boyfriend to buy 50% off chocolate from easter. Yes, this is why I'm fat and no, I'm not sorry for it. To be honest the only thing I look forward to in easter is the chocolates.
Off to enjoy the rest of this warm day! See you all next time.

I haven't been updating lately because I was sick, or still am sick actually. My boyfriend gave me his awful cold/flu and I unfortunately had that on top of exams and important job interviews. I only actually went out today because I had a job interview (I didn't wear such a flashy outfit like this of course, haha. Not like it mattered, it was a casual place.) and then I went home, changed, then went to go buy stuff to make pho tonight.

I found this mint skirt (I tweaked the picture a bit so the accurate colour is shown) at Value Village for $4, and the top was $2.99 at Goodwill... I love my thrift finds. :)
As usual, enjoying my break. Trying to recover. See you all next time.

Today was one of my toughest exams ever. I wanted to at least look un-stressed. I got this dress recently in the mail and I'm pleased: it fits perfectly (the arms loosened up a bit) and it fits true to size. It's pretty cute too. Only con is that it was very windy outside. You can see in the photos. :(

Good news is that I'm done that exam. Also, notice my glasses?! My Zenni Optical order came in. Yay! Now it's not so much RIP my glasses because I replaced them. Bad news is now I have to end this entry short by studying for my physics exam. Adieu, everyone!
PS: The dress isn't THAT short, it was windy and I am holding it up. It hits a bit up my knee, but I like short dresses anyway. Also, I am not mooning people... I made sure to wear some modesty shorts underneath. ;)

I recently bought a pair of high-waist shorts from Forever 21. I'm rocking them, I think. I paired it with this funky top I found at Value Village and I like it. It's still cold so I'm wearing tights and a jacket with it... but hey, I can't wait till the weather picks up.
Exam crunch time.
See you later!

As April rears it's head, it's nearing the complete end of the term. I've yet to write any of my exams, but for now, I decided to take a slack day and go shopping at the mall... like, actually go shopping. I ended up going to Forever 21 and buying a few things (which I'll be showcasing on the blog in future outfit posts) and I also ended up buying some much needed tights, goodies from Lush and some Russian Red Lipglass from MAC. After shopping we went for pizza dinner at Boston Pizza and then the movies to see Source Code (which was good by the way).

Today it was warm enough to go bare legged and cold enough to wear my ASOS Mac. Thus the birth of this outfit. Hope you enjoy -- now that I'm on a month-long break (sort of) I'll be able to post more, and since the snow is melting I can take more outfit pictures outside! Yay!
