Dress ASOS | Socks Dorothy Perkins | Bag and Shoes Thrifted
Thanks to everyone on Twitter for sending kind thoughts about my brother. For those out of the loop, he was in the E.R. but he's okay now and he's doing well. Me on the other hand, I have caught a cold bug but that didn't stop me from going out to take pictures, lol. I went to do some errands but yeah. I regret it now sort of because I am a sniffling mess, haha.
I don't give this dress enough love. It's one of my favourites because the fabric is so comfortable, and it just looks "sweet", don't you think?

In other news, I love my pug... even though she looks sad. Haha.
Oh. I don't give my hair enough love too... I always burn it with heating products. Today I curled it so it looked wavy (even though I have naturally curly hair, lol.) instead of straightening because I find straightening hair makes my hair look greasy when I don't wash it!
I want to know... what are some hair techniques that you people know of that's "lazy" or at least it detracts from the fact that you didn't wash your hair?! I use dry shampoo sometimes but even that doesn't seem to get rid of the heavy "greasiness" my bangs feel and look. I find curling my hair kind of removes that look -- I'm tired of doing buns and I know washing my hair every day is not very good. So any tips would be helpful. I will be here doing homework and sipping some tea. :p

This outfit is cozy. It's not the tights or anything, it's probably my fisherman's sweater which gives it the "coziness" factor. With autumn approaching, it's getting cold and now I whip out the knits! I'm not ready to give up shorts just because of the cold weather.

Are any of you transitioning your "summer" clothing into the fall? Do you even believe in transitioning clothing from season to season? Or do you tuck your clothes away?
I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Once upon a time, I was scared. Scared of what, exactly?
Well. Revealing my arms. Wearing an outfit like this back in high school - forget it. Perhaps the biggest insecurity I had about myself was not my tummy, but my arms. My arms are bigger in terms of proportion... it was (and still is) difficult to find tops that fit my arms just right, while fitting my bust and tummy just right too. Either I find something just right in the bust or tummy department, but the arms are too tight, or I find arms that are just right but way too loose elsewhere.
It's taken a few years but I've overcome this fear of revealing my arms. As big as they are, they're a part of me and it's not fair to love just one part of your body, I think we should love every single curve and every single part of our bodies... because it's the only one that we have in this lifetime. Hating my arms won't do me any good, right?

Anyways, I felt like a vintage-ey housewife in this outfit. Even though it's September it's very hot out in my city, like 30 degrees Celsius hot, reminiscent of July days. Looks like layering's got to wait, but I'm not complaining. Once summer is gone, I'll be begging for it to come back.
So that's all for today and until next time!

With the temperatures dropping, it's becoming cardigan weather. It's not totally "cold" yet, and I like it that way. Cool enough to wear a cardigan and warm enough to go bare-legged with dresses. Thus, the birth of this outfit.

Not much else to say except school's here in a week and I'm nervous.
Until next time!
